A passerby alerted the emergency services around Sunday afternoon because he had noticed a person floating in the water in the Danube.

Dead man missing for several days
As the investigation has now shown, the body is that of a 32-year-old man who is said to have jumped from a bridge into the Danube in the area last week. He had been reported missing since August 29th.
The search for the man, which lasted several days, was unsuccessful until today’s discovery. The search was supported by fire department divers, drones and the police helicopter.
