LUEFA revealed this Saturday the full table for the league stage of the Champions League. For Club Bruges, the only Belgian representative in C1, it starts with a home game on Wednesday September 18 against Borussia Dortmund and ends on January 29 at Manchester City. In the meantime, Bruges will face Juventus, AC Milan, Sporting CP, Celtic, Aston Villa and Sturm Graz.
Please note that all 18 games on the program will be played simultaneously for the 8th and final day of this “mini tournament”.
The 36 teams are divided into four hats. Reigning Belgian champions Bruges have qualified directly and appear in pot 2. Each team will play eight games (four away and four at home) against eight different teams. (two per pot, including the team of the relevant team).
All teams will be included in one ranking. At the end of these eight games, the first eight teams go directly to the 1/8 finals. The teams in 9th to 24th place will play in a play-off (home and away format) for a place in the round of 16. The teams in 25th to 36th place are eliminated without being transferred to the Europa League.
Once the round of 16 stage is reached, the tournament will resume its classic format with two-legged knockout matches until the final which will be held on May 31, 2025 in Munich.
