/ world today news/ Our former ambassador to the USA, Elena Poptodorova, is starting work at the Atlantic Club, announced the president of the organization, Solomon Passi.
He offered her this during the scandal in which the Polish authorities announced that Poptodorova was detained with stolen cosmetics at Chopin Airport in Warsaw, Nova TV reported. It has not yet been decided what exact position Poptodorova will occupy, Passi said, but emphasized that she has been a member of the Management Board for years. “All evil for good – the Americans, who lost a good employee, conceded him to the Bulgarians. Poptodorova is a very valuable professional, and nowadays it can be said that there are not many like her,” the former foreign minister also said. Following the Warsaw airport scandal, Elena Poptodorova resigned from her post as head of the Central European office of the American Jewish Committee.
