Children’s fashion
How to dress your child?
At a time when clothing, shoe and accessory brands are increasingly segmenting their collections by age and gender, what remains of the children’s fashion in the broad sense? It’s hard to talk about rags when looking for first-walker shoes or hoping to find t-shirts that would please teenagers with cartoon prints.
Children’s clothing varies greatly depending on the brand
As with adult fashion, each brand offers its own specificity to dress juniors. Pajamas, baby bodysuits are designed in soft fabrics and endearing prints. Pants, dresses, sweaters and other tops dress boys and girls from 3 to 14 years old following the trends of fashion. Some brands focus above all on quality materials and neat cuts. Others focus their collections on original prints, like those of the Snow Queen, which appeal to the youngest while teenagers are sensitive to message t-shirts. Only sportswear is quite similar, finally, from 0 to 16 years old.
The right accessory that fits the fashion according to age
Obviously, from birth, sunglasses and caps protect from the sun while hats, scarves and gloves take care of the cold. But the school bag is the first “real” accessory that young people ask for. From kindergarten, we choose it with girly patterns for girls or with the image of a superhero for boys. In adolescence, we move on to the school bag to carry everything they need. As for shoes, brands know how to make models that meet daily needs by age group. Velcro is often offered up to size 35, leaving the older ones to handle the laces for example.
