In this regard, Dr. Soraya Izaguirre Hernández, head of the burn service at the ‘Gustavo Aldereguía’ hospital, pointed out that Aguilar Sabina was a “young” patient, so he should not have any problems.
“It will be cured tomorrow,” said the doctor.
Regarding the other two patients, identified as Dionel Figueroa Calunga, 52 years old, in serious condition, and Francisco Díaz Urquiza, 60 years old, in critical condition, the doctor tells they are stable.
“We haven’t had any problems, they are being treated, today we started the third day of treatment with everything they need,” he said.
The media reports that one of the injured, identified as Alexei Aguilar Valdes, 53 years old, had burns on 5% of his body, but that he has already been released.
The only person killed during the explosion that occurred at the cement factory was identified as Raymundo Narciso Sarría, 61, who worked as an electrician for Engineering Construction Company No. 6.
