At the highest level, the Malian will impose himself on the left flank of the blood and gold second line. In 2021/22, Lens and Massadio confirmed their promises. Although he was hampered by injuries until the end of October, the number 21 made a series of appearances between November and December, earning his place in the Malian squad for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.
