Flag Football: Switzerland wins match for third place
The men’s national flag football team won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Lahti. The Swiss won the match for third place against Mexico 41:35. Leon auf der Maur scored the decisive touchdown 8 seconds before the end. The victory against the runner-up of the last World Championship is a sensation, Mexico was the overwhelming favorite. For the Swiss women, the World Championships ended in the round of 16 after a 26:35 defeat against Great Britain. Beach volleyball: Hüberli/Brunner and Breer/Krattiger triumph
