Through an open process of dialogue with citizens in Kyparissia, Michalis Katrinis sent the message of the return of credibility to politics and the transition from an Athenian-centric State to a model of Regional Development.
Mr. Katrinis, speaking to the citizens of Kyparissia, pointed out that the lack of credibility of the government is demonstrated by the way it deals with one of the largest and necessary infrastructure projects for the region, such as the construction of the Pyrgos-Kalo Nero-Tsakona road axis .
He mentioned that the government made promises shortly before the elections, held a meeting “for the eyes of the world” and has since abandoned all efforts to implement this very important and developmental project for the region.
“The Athens-centric State, with its behavior and its choices, does not care about the Greek region.
Essentially, the Greek province has been abandoned to its fate. The concept of regional development is unknown to non-existent for some.
This is about time to change. It is a question of survival for the country to transition to a new model of regional development that will give new life and hope to the Greek province.
At the same time, Mr. Katrinis also referred to the continuous degradation and major shortcomings of the Kyparissia hospital.
In his communication with the citizens, Michalis Katrinis emphasized:
“The elections for the selection of a new President of the PASOK are connected with the prospect of creating a Grand Faction and not with the change of President in a small and medium-sized party.
The Great Front, the great party of power, the unity and rallying of all the creative and progressive forces of the country is a universal demand of the citizens.
And the new President of PaSoK should immediately take initiatives for the creation of the Great Faction that will free the country from the government of Mr. Mitsotakis.”
