Four social health workers from Valle Telesina have been hit by the precautionary measure of a ban on residence in Cerreto Sannita, with a territorial limitation limited to the prohibited area of the workplace.
The order, issued by the investigating judge of the Benevento court, at the request of the prosecution, was executed this morning by the Carabinieri of the Cerreto Sannita company and the Guardia di Finanza of Solopaca. The suspects will have to answer for aggravated mistreatment. The violence would have occurred against non-self-sufficient individuals and those with recognized disabilities. Furthermore, the contested conduct would have also occurred in the presence of other elderly guests of the residence “instilling in them a deep fear for their safety and creating a climate of harassment and oppression“, highlights the Benevento prosecutor’s office.
The investigations allowed, also through technical activities, to identify the four social health workers reached by the provision. Circumstantial evidence was acquired through reports, information provided by people informed of the facts and by some elderly guests, telephone interceptions but also images “unmistakable” taken from the audio-video environmental interceptions registered within the facility.
