Legal counsel breaks down with Shima Kaes over Johnny de Mol’s proposed cash grab

The Telegraph reported yesterday that Shima has proposed to Johnny de Mol to buy the business for 425,000 euros. Aachboun will therefore immediately stop its cooperation with Shima, he says now. “This situation is unacceptable for us as councilors, now that Mrs. Kaes made this proposal behind our backs, while she knew we would never have agreed,” Aachboun wrote in the statement.

According to Aachboun, Shima still owes 125,000 euros to his legal firm. “This is related to the fee for our services. Under these circumstances, we as advisers cannot continue to work for Ms Kaes.’

Shima has not yet been available for comment.

Shima and Johnny have been against each other for a long time. Shima filed a report against her boyfriend for abuse in Ibiza in 2015. This is said to have happened after a wedding on the Spanish island, in the presence of the De Mol family. Shima says that Johnny was abused there.

Police in the Netherlands previously investigated the incident in Ibiza. The public prosecutor decided in 2022 that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute Johnny. The case was therefore dismissed.

Yesterday it was announced that the justice system in Spain has now taken care of the case. For now it’s just an investigation, Johnny is still not a suspect. It is also doubtful whether Johnny can be prosecuted in Spain. Under international law, suspects cannot be tried twice for the same crime.
