Ukraine continues to repel a massive drone attack by the Russian military. This is the second attack that night, and as of this morning an air alert has been declared in eight regions – in northern and central Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv.
Debris from a downed drone fell in two places in Kyiv in the first wave of attack. According to preliminary data, no one was injured. In one case, a multi-storey residential block in the Holoseev district was damaged.
In the Cherkasy region, as a result of the fall of a drone, a fire broke out in an industrial enterprise. The local authorities organized its suppression, but Victor Taburets, head of the military regional administration, did not specify the type of enterprise.
An air alert with the risk of missiles was announced in the Kharkiv region, and additionally at 8:00 a.m. an air alert was also announced over the Odesa region.
The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains tense – that is where the enemy is concentrating its main offensive efforts. This is what the General Staff of Ukraine reported this morning in its summary. The Russian army has attacked Ukrainian positions 59 times. More than half of all clashes took place in the area of Novogrodovka and Grodovka.
In addition, the occupiers are actively attacking in the Kupyan, Kurakh and Torets directions. During the past 24 hours, 182 military clashes occurred.
