“Radicalism has to play an important role in the creation of a rational space that is totally removed from what the national government is, and therefore from the PRO that is close to Milei, such as Patricia Bullrich or Mauricio Macri.
“We must create an alternative that will appeal to other sectors, not only to radicalism, but to sectors of non-Kirchnerist Peronism. We cannot be between the fanaticism of Kirchnerism and the fanaticism of Milei’s government.” This is how the president of the block of provincial deputies of the Civic Agreement UCR-GEN, Claudio Frangul, expressed himself during an interview with EL DIA.
And rounding off the idea of building an alternative, the legislator from La Plata said that “it is very difficult to talk about this because unfortunately this rift that already existed before has deepened much more with a president who is controlled by tweets, who trivializes child sexual abuse, who criticizes journalists.” And in that context he anticipated that radicalism “is not here to be the caboose of anyone” in the process of forming an electoral offer for next year.
