Sancho: Juventus send first formal offer to Manchester United – Football Italia

Juventus have sent their first formal proposal to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, according to reports in Italy.

Although it has already been a busy summer for the Bianconeri’s recruitment team, the club are still hoping to sign one more player before the summer transfer window closes later this week.

The area that Juventus are trying to strengthen is on the wing, despite the recent arrivals of Nico Gonzalez from Fiorentina and Francisco Conceicao on loan from Porto.

Juventus send first offer for Sancho

According to reports from Gianluca DiMarzioJuventus have informed Manchester United that they are willing to pay a fee of around €7-8 million to sign Sancho on a straight loan deal for the 2024-25 season.

It would be a similar deal structure to the one Juventus agreed with Porto for Conceicao.

But for that price, Juventus will hope United will continue to contribute a portion of Sancho’s hefty salary.

Juventus are now waiting for United’s response, which they will probably receive on Thursday.

Should the move go through, Sancho would become Juve’s ninth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Conceicao and Nico Gonzalez, as well as Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta, Pierre Kalulu from AC Milan, Juan Cabal from Verona, Khephren Thuram from Nice, Michele Di Gregorio from Monza and Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa.
