Turkish stocks higher at close of trade; BIST 100 up 0.09% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Turkey equities were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , , and , sectors led shares higher.

At the end of the session in Istanbul, it gained 0.09%.

The best performers of the session were ENKA Insaat ve Sanayi AS (IS:), which rose 3.90% or 1.84 points to close at 49.08. Coca-Cola Icecek AS (IS:) gained 3.31% or 1.95 points to 60.80 and AG Anadolu Group Holding (IS:) gained 2.88% or 9.25 points to close at 330.00.

The worst value of the index was Turkey Vakiflar Bank TAO (IS:), which fell 4.71% or 0.94 points to close at 19.01. Turkiye Halk Bankasi (IS:) declined 2.98% or 0.48 points to close at 15.65. Eczacıbaşı Investment Holding Ortakligi AS (IS:) fell 2.63% or 5.20 points to 192.60.

Negative stocks outnumbered positive stocks on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by a margin of 286 to 266, and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in ENKA Insaat ve Sanayi AS (IS:) accelerated to an all-time high, gaining 3.90% or 1.84 to 49.08. Shares in Eczacibasi Yatirim Holding Ortakligi AS (IS:) fell to a 52-week low, losing 2.63% or 5.20 to 192.60.

Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.42%, or 10.65, to $2,542.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities, crude oil futures for October delivery fell 0.97%, or 0.73, to $74.80 a barrel, while Brent oil futures for November delivery fell 1.02%, or 0.80, to $77.86 a barrel.

USD/TRY recovered 0.17% to 34.06, while EUR/TRY fell 0.41% to 37.90.

The dollar index rose 0.41% to 100.86.
