From the Renaissance to the Baroque to the modern era, the duo’s sounds, in conjunction with stories, aim to transport visitors into the realm of longing, fantasy and poetry.
MORE ON THE SUBJECT
The “Duo Couleur”: These are the recorder player Sonja Coors and the flute player Carolin Stuke. In their concerts, the two musicians let their dissimilar instruments merge, complement each other and then resound in their own individual character. Since 2021, the “Duo Couleur” has been working with the versatile actress, singer and dancer Ulrike Teepe, who enriches her concert programs with expressive readings. Poetry and prose, fables and fairy tales and many self-written stories promise diversity.

“The three artists offer an extraordinary and rarely heard symbiosis of music and literature, in which word and sound become one,” say the organizers from the Evangelical Church District of Vlotho.
The artists want to enchant their audience with (flute) stories and music by Giovanni Domenico Rognoni, Andrea Falconieri, Georg Philipp Telemann and Markus Zahnhausen. A wide variety of recorders and transverse flutes as well as a baroque transverse flute will be heard.
