For the home game against SC Freiburg on Sunday, the South Curve in Munich will appear in a new formation for the first time. In order to get closer to a lively block from corner flag to corner flag, Schickeria Munich, Munich’s Red Pride, alarMstufe rot, Munich Rebels and Red Fanatic Munich will rearrange themselves.
In addition to the partially new placement of the various fan and ultra groups within the south curve, new and additional lead singers will also be used in the south curve as well as new podiums from Sunday. (Fascination Fan Curve, August 27, 2024)
New division of the groups in the south curve our vision of a loud south curve from corner flag to corner flag
During the summer break, a few changes were made to the South Curve, which we would like to inform you about. Ten years ago, we achieved a South Curve as a standing area from corner flag to corner flag. This step gave us a huge boost at the time. Together, we made a name for FC Bayern in the competition between the curves. We can be proud of the South Curve in Munich and what it represents today.
In recent years, however, this development has been followed by a period of stagnation. Even though we are operating at a good level, we have not reached our full potential recently. In the lower areas, the real driving force of the curve, it has become increasingly tight, which has not exactly been conducive to the atmosphere.
For us, it was therefore a necessary step to enlarge the area in which the groups are positioned. We want to include the whole curve, from bottom to top and from the middle to the sides. Our goal is to include everyone in the south curve – a south curve from corner flag to corner flag.
List of groups
In the spirit of widening the curve, Munich’s Red Pride has decided to take the atmosphere to Block 115 up to the corner flag. In Block 114, the alarMstufe rot and the Munich Rebels are widening their locations. The Schickeria will rearrange their locations in Block 112/113, Colegio will currently remain in its place. Red Fanatic Munich is moving to Block 111.
The process during the summer break was accompanied by many discussions. Change means that you have to move, get out of your comfort zone. But it also means that sometimes it is precisely those who already do a lot for the community who have to move more. Those who are prepared to do this deserve respect.
The upcoming changes also mean changes for YOU. We hope for understanding in the spirit of our common goal. We want to approach the steps with respect and strengthen the community in the South Curve through sensible cooperation.
Lead singer
As a first step, the Schickeria will place two more cantors in the middle of blocks 112/113, each outside the stairs. There will also be a new cantor podium in the middle. There will also be a new cantor podium in block 114, which will be moved further outwards.
There will also be cantors in blocks 111 and 115 for the first time.
As part of these changes, we want to network with you and the respective groups and Schickeria sections are available to you as contact persons.
These changes are the next steps towards our vision of a loud South Curve from corner flag to corner flag. Let us take this path together, with enthusiasm and confidence.
TOGETHER, LOUD AND ENTHUSIASTIC – FC BAYERN IS A WORLD POWER
