Kurdzhalians with a position: We, the Turks in Bulgaria, which party to vote for – 2024-08-27 17:52:22

“It is common knowledge that the DPS is a product of the loathed ex-communist intelligence, which still maintains a living fusion between the talentless oligarchic model and the so-called status quo.”

This was stated in an address by the people of Kardzhal, addressed to the entire Bulgarian public, “24 Rodopi” reported. In it they ask: which party should we, the Turks in Bulgaria, vote for?

To the Bulgarian public and in particular to the Turks in Bulgaria.

We are once again on the threshold of elections, but a large part of the Turkish ethnic society is having difficulties in choosing which parties to vote for. There is a palpable fragmentation and disunity between parties and voters.

The empty-headed intellectuals will immediately throw themselves out and say that the Turks in Bulgaria have their own party, which in turn is a big, unflattering hypocrisy, fraud, disappointment and inauthenticity.

It is common knowledge that the DPS is a product of the loathed ex-communist intelligence, which still maintains a living fusion between the talentless oligarchic model and the so-called status quo.

Many voters of Turkish descent, since 1990, have had no connection and have never voted for this fictitious party of novices, faithful servants of the backstage.

Over the years, many voters and sympathizers also broke away from DPS, who were left to fend for themselves, many of them never joining other parties. For years, these facts were hidden from the Bulgarian public through numerous sales media, suggesting that the Turks in our country vote en masse for DPS, which is not true and is a complete communist fabrication. The fact that half of the DPS votes came from other ethnic groups in the country was hidden.

At the moment, about 200,000 obedient voters from among us, most of them out of fear of losing their livelihood and in their deep delusion about the realities, still continue to vote for DPS, but in general the number of Turkish voters in our country is much more – big. This indicator alone eloquently shows how much the soap bubble called DPS is the Turkish Party.

We, the signatories of this Address, with the self-confidence of true democrats, loving the welfare and prosperity of Bulgaria, have always been against this misunderstanding and precocity of the status quo called DPS. We have never been informers and agents of the DS, we have never been lackeys of the DPS and the BSP. We do not approve of the parties supporting the status quo and the oligarchy. We are especially concerned about the future of our homeland, which has been brought to a dead end and stagnation by the dark forces.

Along with the short-sighted policies of the DPS, Turkish society is now completely ignored and left behind. Not a single minister or deputy minister with a Turkish name was appointed in the president’s official governments. The last elected government also did not appoint a single Turk to its ranks and regional administrations.

We invite the Turkish society in our country to start a national movement for a clean policy based on democratic principles and legal norms. In such a movement, we are preparing together with Bulgarians and other ethnic groups to lead a struggle for democracy and legality. We don’t want Sarai nobles and other petty crooks anymore.

We, ethnic Turks at home and abroad do not recognize DPS as our party. We appeal to all our honest fellow citizens not to vote for the venal DPS, but to vote for other parties that are not tied to the status quo and the oligarchy.

There is another significant problem. Bulgarian parties stay away from the so-called Turkish regions. There is no living relationship between us. It is in these elections that nearly 300,000 Turkish voters, no longer voting for the DPS, need to vote for the parties based on democratic principles.

We are not tied to any political formation, we are not a registered company, we do not maintain ties with venal expatriate companies, we speak only on behalf of the Turkish community, realizing our full civic responsibility. We have always been against the status quo and the oligarchy.

Finally, we ask one more time: Which party should we, the Turks in Bulgaria, vote for?
