Chairman of the PDIP DPP Abdullah said he opened up about the many pictures of him together Ann Baswedan who was seen looking at a document.

The picture was uploaded by X account @partaisocmed, on Tuesday (27/8) the day after Anies arrived at the PDIP DPP office before the third wave of regional head candidates was announced. At that time, Anies, who was rumored to be on the list, was suspended.

Said denied that his party had an agreement with Anies as shown in the photo. He said that the meeting he went with Basarah with Anies was just friendship.

He said that the meeting also did not discuss political issues. Because neither he nor Basarah had the authority to create a political agreement.

“That is not a collection of agreement documents. How could my class, Mr. Basarah’s class, then make an agreement with Mas Anies,” he said.

Said also denied that Anies in the photo had signed an integrity agreement agreement as reported. He said that if it meant an integrity agreement, Anies should be promoted by PDIP.

Said was tight-lipped when asked about the chances of Anies being promoted by PDIP. However, according to him, there are still two days until the registration closes on August 29.

“It’s not about a chance or not. But for us, give us a chance, give us time because the closing date is still on the 29th, not today,” he said.

PDIP canceled the name of Anies as gubernatorial candidate in the Jakarta gubernatorial election, Monday (26/8). In fact, it was widely circulated that ​​​​​​Anies would be announced that day, at the same time as the announcement of several regional leadership candidates promoted by the PDIP.

Anies even asked for his mother’s blessing and wore red batik, the official color of the PDIP.

Along with the elimination of Anies’ name was the question of PDIP naming Pramono Anung as Jakarta’s gubernatorial candidate. There has been no confirmation from Pramono on this matter.
