The war that has been going on for years between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher may soon end in a truce. Will Oasis play a concert with the original line-up? Fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement on social media, not hiding their excitement.

Last weekend, Liam dedicated a song to his brother while playing at Reading Festival. Both gentlemen’s Instagram accounts revealed a mysterious date of August 27, 8am.

Will there be an announcement about any gigs at this time? The Gallaghers have never hidden their dislike for each other. They have been at loggerheads with each other for years. Initially, it was the energy that fueled the band. Eventually, however, the lack of brotherly understanding led to the band falling apart.

The straw that broke the camel’s back was a gig in Paris 15 years ago. It didn’t happen because the brothers almost fought each other just before the gig. They had been throwing insults at each other on and off stage. But after the Paris incident, Noel announced he was leaving Oasis.

There are rumors in the media that on August 27th, tracks recorded during Oasis’ first commercial session, which the record company did not like, may be released. They were previously considered lost.

As you might expect, the British media is full of speculation. There’s even talk of a 2019 tour and a £400 million contract. The Gallaghers have repeatedly said that if they ever reunite with Oasis, it won’t be for the money.

First, however, they have to like each other. There is no doubt that as brothers they love each other – but it is a difficult love. In order to play a concert together, they have to do something that will allow them to cooperate and continue creating music. The saying that comes to mind is – “we’ll live and see”.
