184 members of SYRIZA (among them 10 members of the Central Committee) ask the Ethics Committee of the party to call Athina Linou “immediately and as a priority”, so that she “can convincingly explain whether or not the complaints against her are true”.
“We consider it self-evident that if the allegations are true, it is not appropriate for any Left-wing, progressive, democratic party to have such representatives in its ranks,” they emphasize in their letter.
Earlier, Athina Linou claimed that she sent 459 pages of financial data of the Prolepsis Institute to the office of Stefanos Kasselakis and revealed her intention to appeal to Justice “for the sole purpose of restoring the truth”.

Detailed text and names:
“Dear comrades,
It is with great regret and concern that we have recently been following the complaints that have come to light about direct assignments and embezzlement of public money concerning companies and institutes with the direct involvement of the SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance member of parliament Athena Linou.
With even greater concern and since no convincing public answer has been given for all of this by Ms. Linou herself, we observe that the ethics committee has not yet intervened ex officio, with the result that both the prestige and the moral advantage of the party are affected us.
Following the above, we ask the ethics committee, IMMEDIATELY AND AS A PRIORITY, to invite Ms. Athina Linou to convincingly explain whether or not the complaints against her are true.
We consider it self-evident that in the event that the allegations are true, it is not appropriate for any Left, progressive, democratic party to have such representatives within it (let alone be represented in the Parliament) and therefore the ethics committee should consider direct sanctions both to the part of the membership of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance, but also to that of the member of K.O.
