The Hamas delegation left Cairo on Sunday after speaking with mediators. The senior Hamas official, Izzat al-Risheq, said that the group has reiterated its demand that any agreement must specify a permanent ceasefire and the full withdrawal of Israel from Gaza.

“If it wasn’t for this country, face to face [Palestina] will not appear. These are the people who gave birth to it and supported it over time. Resistance fighters have made heroic sacrifices that no one can tell. The sacrifice is indescribable,” he explained.

In fact, Hamdan explained, despite the extreme oppression and incredible suffering that our people suffered at the hands of the Zionist enemy, the front continues to face the enemy bravely.

He also noted that representatives of Hamas had held several meetings with their counterparts from other political groups in Palestine to produce a national vision plan and agree on the creation of an inclusive Palestinian government.

Hamdan concluded by saying that Israel’s killing of anti-Palestinian leaders will not prevent the country from walking the path of resilience. Hamdan also emphasized that anti-war fighters will not hesitate to give everything they have to protect their homeland and legitimate causes.
