Eisleberin organizes charity event for children with cancer

Eisleben/MZ. – Sandra Scharnau knows very well how valuable it is to have a healthy child. But the woman from Eisleben does not take this for granted. Quite the opposite. That is why she is a member of the association for the support of children with cancer, which is based in Halle. She does this by collecting donations for the association.

The woman, who is also the chairwoman of the 1st Eisleben Carnival Club “De Lotterstädter”, does this in different ways. The next important date for this club is September 6th, when a charity event will take place in the “Einigkeit” allotment section at Gerbstedter Chaussee 9b in Lutherstadt. It will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tombola with great main prizes

The two pop singers Anja Schröter and Nico Moree will be taking part this Friday afternoon, both of whom will waive their fees. A tombola has been prepared in which – the organizer promises – there will be no duds, but attractive prizes instead.

The main prizes are particularly impressive. Sandra Scharnau has really put in a lot of effort and brought a lot of supporters on board. “I am very happy that I have such strong partners behind me,” says the organizer, naming the Axel Müller bicycle shop in Eisleben, the photographer Stephanie Hoehn, the LVM insurance agency Marc Litschko, the company Präg Strom & Gas GmbH, the OTD Oil Trading Deutschland GmbH, the company Quad-Motorrad Goltz and Krause Werbung & Gestaltung, “all of whom went above and beyond to ensure that we can offer something really good at our charity event.”

Admission this afternoon costs 2.50 euros and for that you get a taste of the carnival season, the “De Lotterstädter” will of course be dancing. There will also be a bouncy castle.

Commitment is a matter of the heart

The team at the allotment garden’s restaurant will ensure that no one has to go through the afternoon hungry or thirsty. Now it would be great if the weather was good and as many people as possible came to Gerbstedter Chaussee on September 6th to end the working week, have a relaxing afternoon and support the association for the support of children with cancer in an astonishingly simple way.

Sandra Scharnau, who is repeatedly asked why she is involved without being directly affected, always has the same answer, which, in her view, cannot be changed: “It is a matter close to my heart, that is why I am involved.”

She makes no secret of the fact that she sometimes encounters a lot of ignorance and egoism in everyday life, but that only motivates her to not give up.

By the way, the association for the support of children with cancer will also be there on September 6th and anyone who is curious and would like to find out more about their work can ask all their questions at the charity event.
