The shift is part of Remco Oversier’s plan, who already indicated upon his appointment that the restructuring of the office organization is one of his focal points. The club expects more news in the field of the internal organization in the coming weeks.
General Manager Remco Oversier: “As I have indicated before, the restructuring of the labour organisation is one of the first focal points. There is an enormous will, willingness and passion for our NAC within the entire organisation. However, the organisation is also fragmented in locations and in the execution of work by all departments. Our people have been working in the red for years in a stripped-down organisation. All this has led to the formation of islands and decline, while we can only get the club into stable waters as a unit. This new structure of the management is the first step to solve this structurally. With this management team, we will further organise the organisation in September and October. In the future, we will work in three teams under the management team: the technical team, the marketing & sales team and the operational team, managed by the respective directors. Together with me, we form the new management team of NAC. The aim is to build an Eredivisie organisation alongside our Eredivisie supporters, where people are put more into their own strength, bear more responsibility and are given opportunities for growth and development.”
Leon Aerssens will be given more freedom, in addition to his current role, to work together with Remco Oversier on well-known dossiers and projects: “In addition to this daily routine, the various and now well-known dossiers are fundamental to the future of our NAC. Take the stadium, the training complex and the partner fund. Without results, NAC will never become a sustainable club. With his knowledge, experience and expertise, we can tackle any dossier. Within each dossier, the necessary expertise is added from our own NAC network, so that it is approached with a yellow-black focus. Absolutely no time may be lost in this.”
