The conflict between Stefanos Kasselakis and the group of 87 continues with unabated tension after the episodic meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA on Thursday.
The president of the party, on Friday afternoon, tried to counterattack and with his video on social media, he accuses the “87” group of an organized plan to discredit and humiliate SYRIZA. On the other hand, the “87” with their leak a little while later launched a new attack on Stefanos Kasselakis saying, among other things, that he is the one who daily humiliates SYRIZA.
In his first official position on Thursday’s events, Kasselakis said, among other things, that the people who supported SYRIZA “do not owe us anything to drag them to the bottom of personal selfishness” and added that “if they respect even a little bit the world of SYRIZA, to reveal their true intentions now. I will not allow them to burn our hopes for two months until the conference and go away leaving a trail.”

The appearance of Kasselakis was not ignored by the 87 who, through a leak, pointed out to them that they are not going to follow him down the slope and into populism, while they accused him of panic.
The leak: “SYRIZA is humiliated every day by Stefanos Kasselakis who thrives on making internal enemies. We will not follow him down the drain, into financial concealment and populism. He can continue arguing on his own. Panic is a bad counselor.”
