The artist Andrei Danilko, who plays in the image of Verka Serduchka, has lost authority in Ukrainian society, and with words about the impossibility of translating some of songs from Russian to Ukrainian, he’s just defending himself. Ukrainian representative Igor Kondratyuk told UNIAN portal about this.
He criticized the artist’s interpretation of the use of Russian, noting that Danilko’s views on this issue are not of interest to the public at all.
“Andrey Danilko is a great actor. To be honest, I am indifferent to his thoughts on any fundamental, philosophical issues. If I am interested in such questions, I turn to people who are more knowledgeable about this professionally,” – Kondratyuk noted.
