In a police report, the Magdeburg police stated that road users should expect traffic jams and short-term road closures all day on Saturday.

After the game, the area of ​​Gübser Weg, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and Georg-Heidler-Straße will be used as a two-lane one-way street after the final whistle.

At the last meeting, a mass brawl broke out between the two fan camps at the Neustadt S-Bahn station, which left several people injured. Such confrontations are to be prevented this year.

In response to a request from Magdeburg Blau-Weiß, the police stressed: “The police are constantly observing and evaluating the past football clashes. Accordingly, there will be a strong police presence in the state capital next Sunday.”
