A 6-year-old girl was rushed to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam National Hospital (SSRN) in the early hours of Friday, August 23, after suffering severe burns over most of her body.
The little girl, according to her father, was accidentally scalded while she was taking a bath. The medical staff gave her treatment. She was subsequently transferred to the burns unit of the Victoria Hospital by the SAMU.
