Ralf Schumacher took over in the second half of the race and led the team to another victory, thus completing an impressive double over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Markus Pommer and Valentino Catalano secured a creditable second place, closing in on the title fight. This performance has allowed them to move up to second in the championship standings, reducing the gap to leaders Danny Soufi and Torsten Kratz to just nine points.
