Skoda has never offered its flagship in a really sporty version, but a British importer has started such a project.
The same modified car is based on the 2.0 TSI 4×4 version with an output of 206 kW, 280 hp and a torque of 350 Nm. Laurin and Klement are the standard equipment.
Although a Sportline version might be offered, the British traditionally exude a sense of elegance associated with powerful cars.
The station wagon painted in royal green, introduced in 2023 at the coronation of King Charles III, does not prepare its surroundings at all for what is hidden under the hood.
After modification by the external company RE Performance, the two-liter is tuned to 351 kW, 477 hp and the torque reaches 661 Nm. Thanks to the installation of a larger turbocharger and modification of the intake, intercooler and also the fuel system.
The chassis, lowered by 50 mm and equipped with adjustable shock absorbers and springs from KW specialists, also received changes. There was also a stronger braking system from AP Racing and Yokohama tires.
The unique item won’t be sold, but it won’t sit idle in the museum either. It will be part of the British press fleet.
