Some watches are so exclusive that buyers have to sign up for a waiting list to get them. Equipo de Investigación focused on the market for high-end watches, luxury items whose price has risen by up to 20% in recent years, and which are worn on the wrists of actors, models, footballers, music stars and even international leaders. The programme reviewed some of the most exclusive models worn by stars and their exorbitant prices: from Tom Cruise’s 11,000 euro Cartier to the 1998 model by the British watchmaker.
