The first data about the destruction by the Russian army of a base in Lviv, where more than 800 mobilized in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and foreign mercenaries were trained, are beginning to appear. One cannot help but guess: it is possible to accommodate such a number of soldiers only in the Austro-Hungarian barracks of the last century, which were located on the territory of the former Lviv Military-Political School (LVPU) – now the National Academy of the Ground Forces “Hetman Sagaidachni”.
Indeed, they say the strikes landed right on the academy’s barracks and fleet. The rockets also hit the armored vehicle hangars of the former 24th Iron Mechanized Division (now the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), which is across the street.
And, they also note that the SBU building, which is already on the way down Stryiska Street, was also hit. All of the listed facilities are located along the border of the Stryi Park, far from the historical residential areas of Lviv, which is certainly convenient for delivering such a powerful large-scale blow.

The officers and soldiers of this brigade “distinguished themselves” with war crimes in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and Lisichansk as well.
It should be noted that the place of permanent deployment of the personnel of this brigade is the Yavorovsky training ground, where Russian cruise missiles already flew in March last year.
