Through his personal Instagram account, the father of two children responded to the criticism that flooded his comment column.
“Assalamualaikum wr wb… With due respect to all Indonesian people. Regarding the ongoing problems, I personally support and guide MK’s decision,” wrote Raffi Ahmad in a post on Instagram, Friday (23/8/2024).
Sultan Andara admitted that he appreciated his friends who had gone to the streets. As well as raising opinions regarding the review of the Regional Electoral Law.
He also appreciated the concern of the community that had been involved.
“I really appreciate my friends who have spoken out in the streets. All my friends are very special for their support and concern for the country we love,” continued Raffi Ahmad.
According to him, everyone has their own way of expressing their own ideas. He also invited everyone to keep an eye on this matter, but still in a good way.
“Let’s continue to express and defend this in our own way. Whether we express it directly, going on the streets, or through social media, and other good and smart ways without to be anarchic and exciting,” he explained.
He also said that the goal and the type of support given remained the same, that is for the glory of Indonesia and the dignity of democracy.
“All for the good of the Indonesian nation… All for the success of the Indonesian nation… We move with the Indonesian people,” said Raffi Ahmad.
