Because people suddenly age rapidly at two specific times in their lives; at 44 and around 60. This is evident from a study by scientists, published in the journal Nature Aging. Researchers from Stanford University and Singapore University of Technology followed more than 100 participants (1.7 years on average) to analyze changes in their molecular composition.
