33 champions of dance floor tango and 15 champions of stage tango will demonstrate their talent on the stage of the Auditorium of the Usina del Arte, accompanied by live music by Tango Bardo. On Friday 8/23, at 7 p.m., the grand Preliminary Gala of the BA Tango World Championship will take place. The event will take place in the Auditorium of the Usina del Arte, which will host the winners of the national and international preliminaries. A total of 33 champions in the Tango de Pista categories and 15 in the Tango Escenario categories, consecrated in different cities of the country and the world, will demonstrate their virtuosity on stage.
In addition, the Gala will feature live music by Tango Bardo, one of the tango dancers’ favorite ensembles for their performances and choreographies, made up of Lucas Furno on violin, Santiago Polimeni on bandoneon, Lorena Donvito on piano, Juan Miguens on double bass, and Roberto Minondi on vocals. The singer Sandra Luna will be a special guest to open this gala evening.
