Rossi: Bezzecchi has mental problems!

Rider VR46 Racing Team, Marco Bezzecchithat he did not do so well this season. Valentino Rossi indicate that there are mental problems.

In 11 MotoGP races in 2024, Bezzecchi recorded the best performance of the third podium during the Spanish MotoGP. Therefore, he is still stuck in 11th position in the 2024 MotoGP standings with 61 points.

Bezzecchi has not finished twice this season. He failed to finish the races at the French MotoGP and Dutch MotoGP.

Rossi revealed that Bezzecchi was not suitable for the Desmosedici GP23 motorcycle. He struggled in sprint races, scoring points just once when he finished ninth at the Catalunya MotoGP.

“He is in a difficult situation psychologically. Last year, the old bike (Desmosedici GP22) seemed to be better than the new one (Desmosedici GP23) up to a certain point in the season. So, the end- have a good week and you can win,” said Rossi in Crash.

“This year, he (Bezzecchi) decided to stay with us even though we have an old bike (GP23). The 2023 edition of the Ducati is a bit complicated. More gloomy. It was very difficult (during the sprint race) and fighting for the eighth position which is difficult.”

“However, we want to try to stay close and try to keep him motivated all the time to get good results before the end of the season,” he said.
