Russian Olympic Committee President Backs Neutral Athletes as Patriots Ahead of Paralympic Games in Paris

The President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, supported the neutral athletes who qualified for the Paralympic Games in Paris, calling them patriots.

The Paralympics in Paris will take place between 28 August and 8 September. Athletes from Russia may only compete in neutral status, NPA (Neutral Paralympic Athletes) and are prohibited from participating in the opening and closing ceremonies of the competition.
