Former US President Barack Obama said today at the Democratic convention in Chicago that “The United States of America is ‘ready’ for the presidency of Kamala Harris”.
And “Kamala Harris is ready for the job,” someone “who has spent her whole life fighting for those who need to be heard,” added the former president, 63, who delivered a barbed speech against the Republican nominee — of Mr. Obama’s successor in the White House, Donald Trump.
He also adapted his old slogan “Yes, we can” to the candidate Harris, assuring that “yes, he can” win the upcoming elections in the USA.
Tonight, I’m speaking at the @DemConvention about why @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz are the leaders our country needs right now. Tune in: https://t.co/Py5EMx43f5

M. Obama: Hope is returning
“Hope is returning”: former first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama gave a speech last night Tuesday that excited the Democratic delegates, who are preparing to crown Vice President Kamala Harris the party’s candidate for the presidency in the elections of November 5 in the United States .
There is “something magical and wonderful in the air,” assured Mrs. Obama, a familiar face of the Democratic party, wildly popular in Chicago: “It’s the contagious power of hope,” she explained.
I couldn’t be more thrilled to be here at the @DemConvention to support @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz. Watch now https://t.co/I8zSESh12Z
