Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said this to journalists, a BGNES reporter reported. His comment comes after the presidency published the KTB transcript on its website.
“The transcript is at my service, but from here on the CSNS loses its meaning. I will participate in the CSNS only if the media is inside. In the worst case, if a monitor is brought out below, as in the SJC, the media will be present and watch it. Otherwise, I will not allow them to quarrel with a neighboring country in a year, two or three years, if we have expressed our concerns, considerations or whatever and someone decides to make cheap PR with it,” Borisov said.
According to him, the CSNS was the only place where rulers, opposition, services – the responsible people in the state, could calmly talk and express their opinion on a given topic. “If after that they will hold me against me for every word or it will become clear after 2-3 years, I see absolutely no point in doing without the media. So from now on, my participation will only be connected if it is 100% broadcast on TV or down on monitors, and not after 2-3 years of words and comments being taken from me. That’s what they did yesterday,” said Borisov.
“All the transcripts to declassify them. If it is possible for me to declassify this decree about the Gripens as well, you will see what nonsense”, commented Boyko Borisov.
