München – Six people were injured in a rear-end collision involving five vehicles on the A99 motorway near München injured – one woman seriously. In addition, a Dog and ran into the oncoming lane.
According to police, a driver (58) apparently overlooked the end of the traffic jam on Tuesday evening and drove into the car of a 52-year-old woman. This in turn was pushed into the car of a 63-year-old woman, who also hit a vehicle in front of it. The occupants of the vehicle, however, remained uninjured and were able to continue driving.

Dog ran into the oncoming lane
The driver of the first car suffered serious injuries, her 63-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. A rescue helicopter took the driver to hospital. All other drivers suffered minor injuries. A 70-year-old passenger in the 63-year-old’s car also suffered minor injuries. They were taken to hospital.
According to reports, a dog from the 52-year-old’s car strayed into the oncoming lane after the accident. A patrol then caught the uninjured animal. The police are now looking for witnesses.
