Juventus could be on the verge of making a crucial decision regarding Paul Pogba.
Suspended for four years by the Italian anti-doping tribunal after a positive test for testosterone, the French midfielder had tried to have his sanction reduced by explaining that the contamination was due to a food supplement prescribed in the United States.
The move was unsuccessful, but Pogba appealed the decision, calling it “incorrect” on Instagram. While waiting for the judgment of the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS), which should be delivered by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025, Pogba is taking advantage of his free time to travel. He recently visited Guinea and gave an interview to Forbes on his future in football.
According to several Italian media, including Sportmediasetthere could be an imminent break-up between Pogba and Juventus. The French international has unfollowed the club on social media, suggesting that changes are in the works.
Although his contract with Juventus runs until June 30, 2026, the situation has been complicated by his four-year suspension, handed down in February after he tested positive for DHEA in August 2023. Currently, Pogba is on minimum wage, and a dismissal could come soon.
