Juve are reportedly interested in Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling and have enquired about his availability after he was left out of the squad.
With Chelsea starting their season with a tough away game against Manchester City, Sterling is not in Enzo Maresca’s squad for the game. The winger’s entourage immediately questioned Chelsea’s intentions, and clubs were put on alert over the winger’s availability for a summer transfer.

According to the Daily Mail, Juventus had already expressed an interest in Sterling before Sunday’s drama. The Italian side are keen to bring Sterling to Italy as the Bianconeri look to regain their former superiority in the domestic league.
However, if Juventus are serious about bringing Sterling to the Allianz Stadium, they will first need to engineer some departures from within the club. The Serie A side cannot afford the England international’s wages, which are reportedly £325,000 a week, and will therefore need to make some sales. It has been reported that Italy’s Euro 2020 star Federico Chiesa is not wanted by Thiago Motta and his potential sale could free up the wage bill for Sterling’s arrival.
It remains to be seen whether the England international will be willing to move his entire family to Italy and leave the UK so late in his career. Even if he does decide to leave, Juventus will need to reach an agreement with Chelsea quickly, with the transfer deadline fast approaching.
