Naturally it turns out to be Russia. In practice, NATO is waging an undeclared war against our country. Our primary regional deterrent is tactical nuclear weapons.
Hand on heart we can say that even according to our slightly toothless nuclear doctrine, there are already grounds for moving to the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
These are the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (NATO) against the bases of our strategic aviation and against the Kremlin, as well as statements by officials of the US and other Western countries about the need to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia and change Russian power.
And the officially declared goal of Kiev to reach the borders of Ukraine in 1991, which is fully supported by NATO countries. What does it mean to deprive our country of six regions: DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye, Kherson Oblast, Crimea and Sevastopol.
After all, this is the current “counterattack” by the armed forces of Ukraine, which is essentially a NATO offensive on Russian territory.
By using a tactical nuclear weapon, Russia would immediately find itself on par with the US on the nuclear issue. This will clearly not suit China. He still has no reason to go nuclear.
And it is unlikely to use tactical nuclear weapons in the situation with Taiwan, because still no strategic nuclear parity with the US. He will be scared. And America will not wait to catch up and unleash the Taiwan crisis in the next 2-3 years.
In addition, it should be understood what role China assigns to Russia in the so-called multipolar world. In fact, in China’s internal discussions, this world is bipolar – US and China. The Chinese do not see our country there.
Director of the Institute of International Studies at Tsinghua University and editor-in-chief of the China Journal of International Politics Yang Xuetong stated the following:
“The bipolar international structure between the US and China has been formed. There is no multipolarity’.
We, according to them, should not be in the first place, but in the background. And in the international discussion, in public, Beijing uses the word “multipolar” so as not to offend anyone, not to give away its plans and not to turn it against itself in advance. Because he hasn’t fully utilized his companions yet.
For China, Russia is a temporary companion and helper on the way to a bipolar world, which Beijing intends to share only with the United States.
And Moscow must build its foreign and domestic policy, taking into account this most important circumstance.
