Johan Mojica’s great performance in a draw against Real Madrid: he started his debut with Mallorca

Mallorca had a great challenge on the first day of the 2024/25 Spanish La Liga, the new team of the Colombian Johan Mojica had to face at home the powerful Real Madrid that had among others its stars Vinícius, Mbappé and Bellingham, among others. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Johan Mojica was a starter and was one of the most outstanding players of the matchthe Colombian as usual was seen working as a left back, however, on this occasion he was seen constantly changing positions, he looked like a winger for many passages, he was also seen as an inside midfielder and on a couple of occasions he even went to the right side to play.

Real Madrid started winning in the 13th minute with a goal from Rodrygoa goal in which the Colombian had nothing to do with, since the entire play was executed by the Merengue through the right defensive zone of Mallorca.

Mojica looked confident with the ball, with great class he came out on one occasion from the back and passed it into space so that Asano could enter the area and finish, worrying Courtois.

In the second half, Mallorca managed to equalise with justice, after a corner kick Vedat Muriqi beat Mbappé in the air and sent the ball into the back of the net.

Mojica completed his great match with dangerous crosses from the left looking for Muriqi and then dressing up as a savior the Colombian and in an impressive way. Real Madrid attacked with a Mbappé who shot, the ball after the goalkeeper’s intervention was left floating, Rodrygo was about to push it and from one moment to the next Johan appeared to deflect it and send it to the cornera very clear goal smothering for the White House.
