/ world today news/ Financiers from the 20 largest countries reached a full agreement to tighten the laws in order to prevent the vicious practice of multinational companies to avoid taxes, with the losses for the countries being worth nearly 250 billion dollars a year.

The plan, announced in the Peruvian capital on Friday during the International Monetary Fund’s regular meeting, will be presented for approval by G20 heads of state when they meet in Turkey next month. The new rules will strengthen existing tax treaties and align domestic rules on cross-border economic activities to stop companies from avoiding taxes.
