“While the government is making propaganda about the lost lives of people, CNN reveals: ‘An area the size of Paris turned to ashes’!”, says Stefanos Kasselakis in his post on social media, which he accompanies with a quote from US network report.
“The report talks about the ‘horror of the fires in Greece’ and the ‘complete abandonment’ of the residents,” says the president of SYRIZA-PS, while quoting an excerpt of his intervention on CNN, “from the scene of the disaster” in which states: “Do you think this is a political confrontation? He could be the parent of any of us in here. We have received a lot of European funds, and the question is, where has this money gone?”
Mr. Kasselakis adds that the report is closed, stating that “CNN’s request to the Greek government has not been answered”.
