The positions are initially limited to 6 months, with the possibility of extension. They involve 40 working hours per month.
Areas of responsibility:
– Research tasks on the development of children’s rights in Europe, with a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe
– Systematization, transcription and evaluation of partly foreign language sources
– Procurement of literature and sources
– Project-related public relations and event organisation
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in history or law
– Knowledge and interest in European history as well as human and children’s rights history
– Knowledge of German and English
– Knowledge of Polish, Czech and other East Central European or Baltic languages is desirable
– Media literacy, especially in the area of common social media
– Willingness to work independently
– Commitment, flexibility and reliability
– For WHK with Bachelor’s degree, enrollment as a student at a German university
The remuneration is based on the hourly rates for assistants at the TU Dresden.
The place of work is Dresden. Working from home is possible by arrangement.
If requested, advice and support will be provided regarding the possibility of further qualification and the development of a suitable research project.
