Celonis
Barmenia announced today that it intends to use Celonis to further advance the insurance group’s process optimization. The goal is to make corporate and process performance more efficient and transparent across the group and to offer the best possible customer experience.
After a successful pilot project in the area of service provision, the company gradually considered further possible uses for process mining. The insurance group has now decided to intensify this initiative and enter into a comprehensive partnership with Celonis. In this context, ten key customer-related processes will initially be optimized. In order to be able to implement these measures effectively, Barmenia (Website) initiated a dedicated unit within the framework of strategic and operational process management, which is currently being further expanded.
Company-wide initiative for process optimization
The overarching goals of the partnership are the holistic transformation of business processes, the establishment of a data-based 360° view along the entire value chain and the realization of significant optimization potential. The organizational basis for this is effective process management that relies on Celonis as a central data source (“single source of truth”). The insurer uses Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM), a new solution from Celonis. This makes it possible to build a uniform, system-agnostic data model and to dissolve area-specific data silos. This makes the interaction of the individual objects within processes visible, which means that all interactions and relationships can be mapped and end-to-end processes can be visualized, analyzed and improved in real time.
BiPRO
Our primary corporate goal is the satisfaction of our customers. The strategic partnership with Celonis helps us to further increase this and supports us in all phases of digital transformation. With Celonis’ expertise and innovative technologies, we can not only optimize our processes and increase our operational efficiency, but also relieve our employees and offer our customers an even better service experience.”
Frank Lamsfuß, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management at Barmenia
The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into this process enables even more precise analysis and prediction of process flows. AI can recognize patterns, predict trends and provide automated recommendations for optimization. This not only increases efficiency, but also takes the quality of decision-making to a new level.
Process optimization for successful post-merger integration
The company-wide use of Celonis’ process intelligence platform also contributes to a strategic corporate development, the planned merger with Gothaer Versicherung. In the course of the merger, the technology can help to standardize and harmonize the processes of both insurers in order to continue to contribute to the continuous measurement of company and process performance as well as to process improvement and automation.ft
