A merry band through the village

La Nocle-Maulaix. A day of joy for the Générations Mouvement noclois club. The thermometer showed 34°C last Saturday, and there was a crowd on the beach of the Marnant pond. The road to the village was blocked, while a merry band passed by that could be heard from afar.

Wearing a hat and all smiles, Nathalie Galesne explains: “Since January, I have been the president of the Générations Mouvement club in La Nocle. I had the idea, with my dozen members, to organize this festive day. My goal is to rejuvenate the workforce and get people to join us.”

Killian, singer at 17

At noon, around thirty people took part in the country meal. Some exhibitors were present on the square in front of the village hall, with an exhibition of old fire engines.

The happy band then went back up to the village, to make a stop halfway, the local residents coming out of their houses enjoying the musical moment. The crossing of the village, to the village hall, was just as joyful. Killian, from Charrin, a young talented singer, was waiting for them. At 17 years old, he has already shown off his beautiful voice. His repertoire is made for all generations. “Singing is my passion, I am happy to express it here”. DJ Mélodie musette took over on this beautiful starry night.
