A 32-year-old man was jailed after a multi-county police chase and hours-long standoff in Montgomery County on Friday.

Johnathon E. Brown, 32, of Hamilton, was booked into the Warren County Jail on Sunday, according to jail records.
Court records indicate Brown faces preliminary charges of felonious assault on a police officer, failure to comply with a police order and obstruction of official business.
According to jail records, Brown is also being held on a charge of receiving stolen property.
On Aug. 16, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and numerous law enforcement agencies in southwest Ohio were asked to be on the lookout for a stolen Chevrolet Silverado involved in an incident in Butler Township, according to a previous report by News Center 7.
An Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesman identified the driver as Brown.
Shortly before 2 p.m., the Franklin Police Department located the truck on I-75 SB near Franklin Lebanon Road and attempted to stop it. Brown fled the scene and a pursuit ensued, the spokesman said.

Officers joined the chase near SR-63 and SR-4 in Monroe. The spokesman said stop sticks were used, but Brown continued to drive on the truck’s tires for several miles.
The chase ended on W. Linden Avenue near N. Riverview Avenue in Miamisburg after Brown crashed into the side of a CSX train, News Center 7 previously reported.
The impact pushed the truck onto the south side of the road, the spokesman said.

Brown refused to get out of the truck and began a standoff with SWAT that lasted for hours.
Police believe the suspect was armed, prompting Miamisburg City Schools to go into lockdown. The lockdown was lifted around 4:30 p.m.

According to a social media post from the Kettering Police Department, the Kettering Regional SWAT Team and a KPD drone operator responded to assist in the standoff.

K9 Ox apprehended Brown and law enforcement took him into custody, the post said. Ox and his handler are part of the Kettering Regional SWAT team.

Brown suffered minor injuries and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol will continue to investigate this incident.
