Louisa Grigorova and Martin Makariev beat the heat with “good wine” in France, then Spain

Actress Louisa Grigorova left for France with her husband – director Martin Makariev. This time the family took a real vacation, not like before – Grigorova went on a tour of the Black Sea coast, but on tour with “Poets”. In the French town of Biarritz there was Bashar Rahal and his girlfriend – the actress Lubomira Basheva. However, the journey did not end there. The four went to San Sebastian (Donostia) in Spain, where the two couples will enjoy their vacation a little longer. “Delicious food, good wine, great company, Spain, France… I have nothing to complain about,” Luiza Grigorova-Makariev wrote on Instagram.

In the newspapers: San Sebastian or Donostia – never both

Since 1980, the official name of the Spanish resort is Donostia-San Sebastian. In newspapers and colloquial speech, however, only the first or second part is always used. In fact, Donostia comes from the Basque words dono (master) and sitio (place) and means “place of the master”. San Sebastian comes from the name of the Spanish saint Sebastian, who was martyred in the 3rd century.

Although the city is not large, it is famous for its international festivals and developed trade and tourism.
